Check the Air Switch
Whether you're riding a two-wheel scooter or a three-wheel electric tricycle, the first thing to do if you encounter a breakdown is to open the seat bucket and check the air switch. If the switch has tripped, simply push it back to continue driving. Trips can occur due to severe vibration or a momentary surge in electrical current. This quick fix can save you time and avoid unnecessary repairs.

Activate the Anti-Theft Device's Keyless Operation Feature
Many modern two-wheel electric bikes and leisure trikes come equipped with anti-theft alarms that feature keyless operation. While these features enhance security, they can also be a source of problems. If your vehicle's power signal system fails due to issues like a damaged electric door lock or a faulty controller signal line, activating the keyless operation feature of the anti-theft device can get you moving again.

Inspect Brake Switch Reset
Electric tricycles have a brake power-off feature, which relies on the action of the brake switch. If the brake switch sticks or malfunctions, it can prevent the vehicle from moving. In such cases, repeatedly applying the brakes firmly might reset the switch and allow the vehicle to operate normally.

Use the Self-Repair Switch
Our vehicles come with a self-repair switch that, when pressed according to the operating instructions, can temporarily fix circuitry issues without any tools. This feature is intended for immediate, temporary solutions; it's still important to visit a repair shop for a thorough check-up and necessary component replacements.

Bypass the Controller's Power Signal Line
To address issues with the "runaway" protection feature in the controller, you can directly short-circuit the two main lines: the power line (thick red wire) and the power signal line (thin red wire). This bypass can keep the motor running if there's a fault in the power signal route, though it circumvents control through the electric door lock. This may require a wrench or socket set for quick fixes.

Check the Battery Box Fuse
In simpler models, the power fuse is often located inside the battery box. Opening the box to inspect the fuse, and if necessary, short-circuiting it can help you continue driving if the fuse has blown due to poor contact or a short circuit in the vehicle.

Tighten and Adjust Controller Wiring
Loose or poorly connected wires at the controller can cause operational issues. Checking and then re-securing or re-plugging each connection might resolve these issues and allow your tricycle to run smoothly again. This might require a wrench or socket set.

Check Battery Connections and Ports
If the entire vehicle is without power, and checks of the air switch and fuse don't reveal any issues, inspect the battery's wiring and connectors for loose or broken connections. Often, simply adjusting these connections by hand or with tools can restore power. Tools needed may include a wrench, socket set, or Phillips screwdriver.
